About Me

I am a well respected freelance writer with 29 years' experience of covering a broad range of IT and general business topics for the UK and international technology and business press.

I cut my teeth on Computergram International, which was legendary in its time. After 10 years working on IT publications in London (including several years as an editor), I left the big city in 2001 and launched my freelance career. Since then I have written for a range of specialist trade publications across multiple industry sectors, as well as mainstream titles and national newspapers.

I also work prolifically as a corporate and agency copywriter, producing:

  • CxO-level thought leadership (eg white papers, eBooks, authoritative market analysis articles)

  • Bylined feature articles (eg for branded B2B customer/vertical sector magazines)

  • Bylined opinion/blog content

  • Branded content (eg appearing on microsites hosted by Cisco and The Guardian)

  • Advertorial content

  • Customer/partner case studies

  • Customer/partner newsletters and

  • Brochure content.

Clients (direct and indirect) include or have included Capgemini, KPMG, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, BT and more.

I cover most IT and general business/marketing subjects, across the full spectrum of vertical markets - from healthcare and life sciences to retail and financial services.

I'm easy to work with, extremely efficient and professional, and am still writing for many of the same clients who engaged me in the earliest days of my freelance career.
